By creating an account, browsing educators, booking demo sessions, or registering as a tutor on OEducators ("Platform", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Description of Services

OEducators is an educational technology marketplace connecting students, parents, and verified independent educators for personalized 1-on-1 home tuition and online learning. OEducators facilitates discovery, verification, scheduling, and communication between parties.

3. Student & Parent Obligations

• Parents or legal guardians must create and manage accounts for students under 18 years of age.
• For in-person home tuition, an adult family member or guardian must be present at the residence during all scheduled lesson hours.
• Tuition sessions must be conducted in open family study spaces or living areas, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
• Prompt payment of agreed tuition fees must be made to educators in accordance with agreed schedules.

4. Educator Terms & Verification

• Educators must provide authentic government photo identification and verified academic credentials.
• A minimal, transparent registration fee applies for educator onboarding to cover the operational costs of document verification and profile activation.
• Educators act as independent professional tutors and are responsible for their conduct, punctuality, and curriculum delivery.
• Educators must carry their digital or physical verification credentials to all home tuition visits.

5. Code of Conduct & Zero Tolerance Policy

We enforce strict zero-tolerance policies regarding harassment, verbal abuse, discrimination, inappropriate behavior, or intellectual dishonesty. Violations result in immediate permanent expulsion from the platform and potential reporting to law enforcement authorities.

6. Limitation of Liability

While OEducators takes rigorous steps to verify identities and academic qualifications, we do not guarantee academic performance, examination results, or specific grades. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OEducators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from private tutor-student interactions.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms or platform usage shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gaya, Bihar.
